The Giles
Luther Room served as master bedroom for the sea captain for
whom the house was built in 1809. Colonel Luther was the first recorded
parade marshal of Bristols famous 4th of July Parade. This
gracious guestroom is on the second floor of the Inn and is decorated
with bright and lush florals.
The room is furnished with mahogany spool beds arranged
as a king,* antique loveseat with overstuffed floral pillows, mirrored
dresser, rocking chair, desk and armoire. The gas log fireplace
features the originals Italianate marble mantle. The room has a
private bath with a tub/shower combo, hair dryer and terry cloth
robes. (*Bed can be arranged as twins.)
