The Charles Rockwell Room

The Charles Rockwell Room is named for the owner who generously donated the home to the Bristol District Nursing Association in 1940 when Bristol had no other medical facility. This sunny and cheerful room is on the southwest corner on the second floor.
The antique mahogany quarter pineapple post beds are set up as a king bed. The room is furnished with a mirrored armoire, needlepoint-covered rocking chair, wicker loveseat, mirrored dressing table and dresser. In the room, you will find your vanity set in an antique Mission oak desk. The private bath with shower (no tub here), has a hair dryer and terrycloth robes.
