Welcome to the Rockwell House Inn Bed & Breakfast

Make yourself at home

The rooms reflect the warmth and charm of an elegant private home, with exceptional inlaid hardwood floors, three working fireplaces, high ceilings, 8-foot pocket doors and spectacular stenciling throughout. The Rockwell House Inn boasts very large common rooms and guest quarters with 10-foot ceilings. Front and back parlors open to each other, as well as to the dining room through the pocket doors offering a grand, open, feeling. The Inn sits on a private half-acre of land that includes a fishpond and waterfall as well as vegatable and flower gardens.

Each of the four spacious guest quarters is elegantly appointed with antiques and has king, queen, or twin beds. They offer private baths, terry cloth robes, hair blowers, lighted make-up mirrors, iron/ironing boards, 'soothing sounds of nature' machines and A/C. Two guest rooms have working gas log fireplaces. Daily chamber service is provided.

Unwind

Linger on the breakfast porch or candlelit dining room, stroll through our half acre garden, read in one of our comfortable parlors or catch the local flavor from the front porch. In the evening, sip sherry from the bar while you view a movie from our extensive video collection, add a piece to our ongoing jigsaw puzzle, or escape to the privacy of your own room.

Your full time host and innkeeper Debra, formerly a speech pathologist, and Steve, in the wine business for almost 2 decades will immediately make you feel at home, plan your daily excursions and guide you to Bristol's culinary delights.
